INTERNATIONAL INDIAN SCHOOL , JEDDAH

SAUDI NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION

The I  & II Boys’  section of International Indian School , Jeddah organized a special programme on the occasion of Saudi National Day on 25^th September 2011.

The programme started with the recitation from the Holy Qur’an and the narration of a hadeeth.

Then the boys recited a patriotic poem ‘Bilady’ which was followed by a documentary on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Royal family, two holy mosques, culture, dress, food and traditional dances were highlighted in the documentary.

The close relationship between Saudi Arabia and India were also depicted.

Finally , a fabulous Saudi traditional dance  i.e  the sword dance was performed by the boys in Saudi Arabian costumes.

The programme on the whole highlighted the rich culture and values of Saudi Arabia  and revealed the strong bond of love between Saudi Arabia and India.
