Dear Parent,
Subject : School Fee for July – September 2010
The
School will be closing for Summer vacation & Eid Holidays from July 17,
2010 and will re-open on September 20, 2010. Fee counter in the Boys
Section will remain open on all working days during the period for the
convenience of parents who are not proceeding on vacation.
Parents who are going on vacation may remit the fee upto September 2010
in advance.
However, they have also the option of paying the School fee upto July
2010 before proceeding on vacation and remit the fee for the months of
August & September 2010 by 30th September 2010 without late
fee.
It
may be noted that late fee will be charged for the complete period of
default as per existing rules for late payment after 30th
September 2010.

FORMATION OF NEW MANAGING COMMITTEE
Dear Parents,
As
the present Managing Committee has completed its tenure, a new Committee
is to be formed as per guidelines from competent authorities.
School seeks nominations from the interested/eligible parents for the
purpose.
The
conditions and nomination forms are being uploaded on our School
website:
www.iisjed.com. The same can be downloaded.
Completed nomination forms may be submitted in a sealed envelope to the
Controller of Examination in person between 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm latest
by 26.06.2010.

PARENTS AWARENESS PROGRAMME
With
an objective to effectively help parents understand their children and
to familiarize them with rules and regulations, a “Parents
Awareness Programme”
has been arranged on 26 May 2010, in the Boys Section Auditorium at 7:00
pm.
Parents of students studying in classes III to V (Boys Section) are
cordially invited to attend the programme.
A
well known psychologist has kindly consented to address the parents on
the occasion.
Your
presence and cooperation in this regard will be highly appreciated.
Please do not bring your children with you.

DISPERSAL OF STUDENTS
In order to ensure maximum safety of students and staff at
dispersal time, the following plan of action is being introduced with
immediate effect:
Soon after the last period is over, students will move
out of the block in a line through allotted exists. Thereafter:
I.
a) Students who avail the school transport will immediately
proceed to the respective
buses and get seated without wasting any time.
b)
Sirens will sound twice. The first siren will sound at 3.25 pm
indicating that the buses are ready for departure. No student should
remain in the ground after the first siren.
c)
The Second siren will sound at 3.27 pm after which the buses will
start moving out. No bus should start before the sounding of the second
siren.
II.
Students who go by walk will immediately leave the premises and
go home. They should not loiter around inside or outside the school.
III.
Students who commute through private transport:
These
students will assemble in the shades near gates 3 and 4 and will move
out only with the driver concerned. They should not wait or play
outside the School.
IV.
Students who are picked by the parents should use gate No. 2 only.
V.
All students (except those who are asked to stay back for extra
curricular activities) should leave the School latest by 3:45 pm.

Dear Students,
Here
is our chance to unleash your talents.
Various competitions will be held on Vista Day which is scheduled on
Saturday, 24 April 2010 for students of Classes I to XII (Boys & Girls)
in the last two periods in respective classes.
Interested students can

articles/poems/anecdotes etc., in
English/Hindi/Tamil/Malayalam/Urdu/Arabic.

Draw,
colour or paint objects, characters, scenes etc./, of your choice.

Design cover page / section page
Selected articles and art work will be published in the School Magazine

VISTA”.
Students interested in drawing and painting must bring their own

07.04.2010.

itinerary includes an important interactive session with the parents of

evaluation-the CCE. The programme will start sharply at 5:00 pm and
will continue for about an hour.

are glad to inform you that the School is organizing a programme in
honour of H.E. The Minister of State for External Affairs Dr. Shashi
Tharoor and H.E. The Ambassador of India Mr. Talmiz Ahmed on 31st
March 2010 (Wednesday) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 PM in the Boys Section
Auditorium.
Students of Grade XII have been selected to participate in this
programme. Hence presence of your ward in the programme is highly
solicited.
Students availing school transport will be picked and dropped by the
School bus while students who commute by private transport will have to
make their own arrangement.
Kindly note that all students will
participate in the programme in proper school uniform.

Dear Parent,
RE: Supply of text books / note books for the year 2010-2011.
The
School has arranged for the supply of text books for Classes KG to XII
at a highly concessional convertible rate of INR 100 = SR 8.75 only on
first come first served basis.
Prescribed note books will also be supplied to Classes KG to V by the
School. Prescribed record books for Classes IX to XII are to be
purchased from the School only.
Payment for the books can be made at the counter, set up in the Boys’ &
Girls’ Sections from 15th March 2010 onwards as per the
following timing:
Girls Section 8.00 am to 2:00 pm 5:00 pm to
9:00 pm
Boys Section 9.30 am to 2:30 pm 5:00 pm to
9.00 pm
