Admissions for the academic year 2012-13
Admission procedures for the academic session
2012-13 will commence from 06.02.2012.
Admission to Lower Kindergarten will be done by
drawing lots. Children, whose reference numbers
are picked during the draw will have to come for
an interaction with the teacher incharge on a
given date.
Admission to all other classes will be subject
to seats vacated by the students who leave the
School.
However, class wise waiting lists will be
prepared by drawing the lots. Children whose
reference numbers are picked in the draws will
have to appear for admission test. After
qualifying the test, admission will be granted
as per availability of seats.
Procedure & Schedule
I.
Admission request can be submitted only
through School Website:
www.iisjed.com
from 06.02.2012 to 13.02.2012.
II.
All requests will be allotted a Reference
Number and draws will be based on the Reference
Number only.
III.
Drawing of lots for the available number of
seats for LKG will be at 4:30 pm on 23.02.2012
at the Boys Section in Al-Rehab Dist.
IV.
Draws for waiting list / available seats for
UKG and I & II will be at 4:30 pm on 26.02.2012
at the Boys Section in Al-Rehab Dist.
V.
Draws for waiting list / available seats for
III-VIII will be at 4:30 pm on 27.02.2012 at the
Boys Section in Al-Rehab Dist.
VI.
Admission to Class IX is subject to seats
available after the internal promotions from
Class VIII. It will be based on admission test
that will be conducted in April 2012.
VII.
Parents/Guardians of all candidates who
submit the request will have to be present for
the draw.
VIII.
Photocopies of Passport & Iqama of the
candidate along with the registration slip
should be available on the day of draw.
However, original documents will have to be
produced for verification at the time of
admission.
IX.
Waiting lists will be valid till 30
April 2012 only, in order to facilitate
the parents to make alternate arrangements for
their children.

GRADUATION CEREMONY 2012
REGISTRATION FORM
Dear Parent,
We are pleased to inform you that the Graduation
Ceremony for the outgoing students of Grade XII
(Boys & Girls) will be held on 17 February 2012,
Friday from 6.45 pm to 9.00 pm.
This ceremony will mark the completion of school
studies by the students. Hence, it will not
have any relevance to the forthcoming CBSE
Examination 2012.
Graduation being a memorable day for the
students of Grade XII, we look forward to your
participation. We believe this ceremony will
leave an indelible mark on the outgoing students
and give them a memory to cherish for life time.
Parents and Siblings (above 6 years) of the
Graduating Students are most welcome to attend
this ceremony. However, entry will be
restricted to a minimum charge of fee, as the
programme will be followed by a dinner.
In order to unify the spirit of oneness in the
graduating students, arrangements are made to
provide Graduation Gowns and Hoods to these
students for a minimum charge of SR 50/-.
All graduating students are expected to attend
the ceremony in proper school uniform.
Students, not in School uniform will not be
allowed to attend the programme.
Parents interested in attending the ceremony are
kindly requested to submit the attached consent
form latest by 09 February 2012. Registration
for the ceremony is necessary so as to estimate
the expected number of guests.

The weather report forecasts showers on 14
November 2011 (Monday). As a measure of
precaution, the following changes in the day’s
schedule may kindly be noted:

The Special coaching classes for the students of
Grade XII will remain suspended on 14 November
2011 (Monday).
2.
The Supplementary Examination of SA1 for Classes
VI-X scheduled on 14 November 2011 ( Monday)
will be held on 17 November 2011 (Thursday).

Dear Parent,
Apropos to our earlier circular dated 17
October 2011.
The grand finale of the ‘Youth Festival’
is scheduled on Monday 31 October 2011. A
Valedictory function followed by cultural
programme will begin at 11:30 am in the Boys
Section auditorium. Regular classes will
remain suspended, however the competitions
scheduled for the day will be conducted and
selected students participating in the programme
need to be present. Class Prefects and Cabinet
Members of VI-XII (Boys) will attend the
programme.
The programme is likely to conclude at 5:00 pm.
School transport will be provided for the
participating students availing regular bus
facility. Private commuters need to make their
own arrangement.

Dear Parent,
The School will be
closing for Summer vacation & Eid holidays from
07 July 2011 to 12 September 2011 and will
re-open on September 13, 2011.
Fee counter in the
Boys Section will remain open on all working
days from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (Saturday to
Wednesday) and from 9:00 am to 11:30 am on
Thursdays, during the period of vacation for the
convenience of parents who are not proceeding on
vacation. It will remain closed from 20 August
2011 to 10 September 2011 on account of Eid
Holidays. Fees Counter will be open from 11
September 2011.
Parents who are
proceeding on vacation may remit the fee upto
September 2011 in advance.
However, they have
also the option of paying the School fee upto
June 2011 before proceeding on vacation and
remit the fee for the month of July & August by
20 September 2011 without late fee.
It may also be
noted that the late payment will be charged for
the complete period of default as per existing
rules of the school after 20 September 2011.

Dear Parent,
The School’s (Girls Section) Investiture
Ceremony will be held on 26 May 2011 (Thursday)
in the Boys Section Auditorium from 8.00 am to
9.30 am.
Students interested to witness the programme
will have to report at the Boys Section at 8.00
am in School uniform (Blue & White).
All students should strictly adhere to school
rules and refrain from carrying any prohibitory
materials along with them.
School transport will be available for school
transport commuters. However, private commuters
will have to make their own arrangements.
