Earth Day

III-V- BS

The students and staff put up a grand show celebrating Earth Day on 22 April. They highlighted the factors that are responsible for this plight of the beautiful and life enduring  planet. Talking about pollution levels, landfills, deforestation, use of plastics etc. the students presented a skit and put forth the ways by which each one could contribute in conserving the Earth and its resources for future generation. They pledged to use cloth carry bags, not waste paper, give away used clothes to poor and needy, dispose waste in proper manner which  were the main highlights of the programme.

The Principal Syed Masood Ahmed and Vice Principal Dr. Najeeb Qais graced the occasion and planted a sapling as a gesture to promote      afforestation and  keep the earth green and clean. Speaking on the occasion the Principal stressed on the role of the students in the present scenario.
