Academic:

    The English Recitation Competition of III-V block Girls Section was held on 4th December 2011 in the Girls Auditorium. 

As we all know, poem is meant for enjoyment. Beauty is the realm of the poetry, the children enjoy the beauty of expression, thoughts, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The children chose a variety of topics for their recitation like nature, trees, flower, birds, teacher, etc. with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.

The Elimination round was conducted in the classrooms from where two –three children from each of the twelve sections were selected for the Final Round.  The participants showed their confidence, expression and talent. They recited the poem with rhythmatic modulation enchanting the entire audience.

The Guests of Honour, Vice Principal, Mrs. Farahadunissa and Headmistress of VI-VIII block Mrs.Maria Ramaswamy graced the occasion. The Judges appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants. The discipline maintained by the girls of III-V helped in making the programme a grand success.
