    Maths Aptitude Test:

     

    Maths  Aptitude test was conducted in three phases. The first round was conducted on  16-10-11. To qualify in this round, it was essential that the students had the mathematical knowledge and knew techniques required to solve the questions, which were taken from the syllabus. It aimed to test the depth of mathematical understanding of a student rather than a breadth of knowledge. Out of 1500 students only 75 were short listed.

    The II phase was conducted on 23-10-11, students were encouraged to attempt all the questions and the best 30 were selected to facilitate the selection of Math wizards.

    After the final round, Mohd Asad of III B 4, Mohd Zameel P T of IV B 11 and Ajwad haneef of V B 4 bagged the first positions in Group A, B & C respectively.
