Seminars and workshops

The Internal Teachers Seminar cum Workshop on “Teachers Role as Examiners & Evaluators” was held on 1^st July 2009 for the teachers of IX-XII GS & BS. It was organized by the Examination Dept. led by the controller of Examinations Mr Ayub Sheikh. Mind-altering papers accompanied by power-point presentations were presented by the Resource Persons Mr Ghulam Rasool, Mr Noufal & Mrs Ghazala Ahmed. It was indeed an eye-opener for the teachers.

A Seminar on “Art of Teaching” was conducted by Dr Ismail, lecturer of KAA University on 2^nd July 2009 for the teachers of I & II GS & BS. It was a brief journey of reorientation & rejuvenation for the teachers who actively participated in the activities incorporated in the seminar.

A proposed Seminar on “Teachers Role in the present Scenario” is in the cards for the III-V (GS) teachers, to be held on 15 July 2009.

Counselling Programmes

Group Counselling Sessions on Health & Hygiene were organized by VI-VII (GS) for classes VI,VII & VIII which provided a platform to the students to clear their doubts about health related issues of that age group.

A Career Counselling Programme was organized by the IX-XII (GS) for the students of HUMANITIES. Information related to various career options were presented before the students by the Career Guidance Cell.

In-House Counselling Sessions are being carried out regularly in the IX-XII (GS) by the Student Cabinet Members who utilize their leisure time to speak to the junior students and create an awareness among them about the common hazards that the youngsters are prone to.

KG Annual Day

The Annual Day of KG section was celebrated on 26 March with great pomp and fare. A spectacular show filled with action songs, dances & value based skits was presented by the tiny tots .The audience was enthralled by the carefree and innocent displays of the KG children.

We Deeply Regret……

We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to all the parents who are waiting in the wait list to receive a call from us to enroll their children in IISJ. We regret the unavailability of seats in both the GS & BS and express our helplessness in this regard. However we are concerned about all the students in the wait list and shall keep striving to help them in all possible ways.

RECRUITMENT POLICY

Screening Test for local recruitment of teachers is a routine feature. Teachers are recruited after the clearance of the screening test and interview. A ‘Centralized Data Bank’ is being maintained in the main school. Candidates interested in joining IISJ may send their resumes through email or fax to the Office Superintendent.
