Academic:

    The Saudi National day was celebrated on 26^th of September 2011 with great excitement and enthusiasm in the I& II G.S. The programme commenced with the assembly by the students of II A 9.The program was attended by our esteemed Principal, Vice Principal and Headmistress of   X-XII block.  The welcome note was given by a student of class II A 9. Speeches on Saudi Arabia and its development were given by the students of class II. The Children impersonating members of the Royal family were introduced namely the founder King, Abdul Aziz Al Saud, The Present King, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince, Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz and the second Deputy Prime Minister Prince Naïf bin Abdul Aziz.

           A display of a Saudi gathering (baithak) using hookah, dates and kahwa attracted the audience.

    A  Song which was sung by the children to welcome our beloved prophet Muhammad (SAW) when he first arrived in Madinah was sung melodiously by the students of classes I & II.

This was followed by the National dance popularly known as “Ardah” the men folk swayed their swords to express their unity, solidarity and patriotism towards their country

Football, the national game of Saudi Arabia was played between the two popular teams Al- Hilaland and Al- Ittihad.

This wonderful programme was organised by a team of teachers with profound enthusiasm, immense potential, hard work and true team spirit.
